3.02 Determine Cleaning Methods
3.02 Determine Cleaning Methods
Overview
In order to accomplish this task, you will need a list of the items to be cleaned in the target area and the people assigned to the task. The assigned 6S participant may need to do a little research if it isn’t obvious how a particular item should be cleaned. You want participants thinking ahead so time isn’t wasted when cleaning begins. Not only do you want to ensure each person has the right tools and supplies for the job, but you want to make sure each person knows how to use them. Before charging into the target area to clean, the team should create and understand a few basic guidelines for cleaning.
Objectives
- Determine best and safest cleaning methods for items in the target area
